My name is Rachid, and like many Moroccans, I grew up surrounded by traditions, craftsmanship, and places that tell stories without saying a single word. But it was only later that I truly understood the magic of riads.

It all started in the narrow streets of the Marrakech medina. Behind simple, often discreet doors, there are hidden treasures: sunlit patios, handcrafted zellige fountains, smooth tadelakt walls, and a peaceful atmosphere you simply can’t find anywhere else.

Over time, this fascination turned into a real passion. I began exploring, observing, and learning—understanding the details of their architecture, their history, and how many of them have been transformed into guesthouses or luxury boutique hotels.
